Privacy

What we hold, and what we do with it.

Draft summary, pending legal review.

This page describes accurately how the platform handles data today. It is a plain-English summary and not yet a formal privacy policy. Counsel should review it before launch.

What we collect

Your account

Name, email, phone, firm website, city, state, bar number, practice areas, bio and profile photo. You provide all of it; you can edit or remove it from your profile page.

Your password

Stored only as a hash, never as text. Members migrated from the previous platform keep their existing password; the stored hash is upgraded automatically on first sign-in.

Messages and files

Direct messages and any documents you attach, kept so the conversation remains available to both participants. Attachments are private to the two people in the conversation.

Referral requests

What a member of the public submits through the public form, visible to approved members so one can take the matter.

Session activity

Which video sessions you host or register for, and when you joined.

Technical

A session cookie to keep you signed in, a last-seen timestamp to show presence, and failed sign-in attempts for rate limiting.

What we will not do

We do not sell your data

Not to advertisers, not to lead generators, not to anyone.

Your profile is not public

Member profiles are visible to signed-in, approved members. The site asks search engines not to index member areas.

We do not read your messages to market to you

Message content is used to deliver the conversation, nothing else.

You can leave with your data

Ask and we will export your profile and message history. Deleting your account removes your profile, messages and registrations.

A word about client confidentiality

Nothing on this platform is a substitute for your own obligations to your clients. Do not post client identifiers or privileged detail to the network. Share identifying information directly with a receiving attorney only once you have your client's consent.

Messages are private to the participants and encrypted in transit. They are stored on our own servers and are readable by the platform operator; treat them as you would email, not as a privileged channel.
